I have a small business and I'm interested in a Web site. Whats the first step?Firstly, review your plans and goals for your web site and work out a rough outline:
- What is the purpose of the Web site?
- Identify your audience; focus on them;
- this helps determine what they want,
- helps prepare the content presentation.
- Outline the main topics planned for your Web site.
What about a domain name and host? I don't have one yet.
We will help you obtain a domain name at no charge, although Internic registration fees may apply. The choice of a domain name should be chosen to help identify your business (subject to availability, of course).
If you have no hosting preference we do have several hosting companies that we work with, but we will upload your finished site to any host you may prefer.
Why don't I just use a prepackaged template to design my own site?
Certainly you can, depending on the amount of time you have available to do the work, and whether you're happy with prepackaged templates. If you're busy running your business, its often more practical and cost-effective to have a site designed for you.
So how much do you charge for designing a site?
Costs of a site can vary greatly depending on the nature of the site and the design features incorporated. We do provide a quote prior to performing any work, with 50% of the cost due upon your approval of the project.
Once we've completed the project and uploaded your site to our server, you'll have an opportunity to review the site. Once finalized the remaining 50% of the cost is due, at which time we'll upload the final product to the server of your choice.
Do you offer any special rates for non-profit organizations?
Yes, we will offer special rates for such groups and prefer to quote once we speak with you and have a better understanding of the scope of the project.

What if our site requires periodic updates to keep our customers informed?
We don't charge for minimal changes, but we do offer Web site maintenance plans for periodic or longer term support. For example, if you plan on updating your site with daily or weekly sales specials, that can be covered under the maintenance plans. Review our plans in greater detail here.
